- DivorceCare is a support group that meets for 13 weeks and coincides with DC4K. It is based on a curriculum that helps you face the challenges of divorce and move toward rebuilding your life. Each DivorceCare session combines a video seminar featuring top experts on divorce and recovery subjects. After viewing the video, DivorceCare group participants spend time as a support group, discussing what was presented in that week’s video seminar and what is going on in the lives of group members. The program will begin September 28th and run every Wednesday from 6:30 to 8:00 pm until December 21st in Adult room 1A at Northgate's north campus. DC4K
- DivorceCare for Kids (DC4K) is a biblically based curriculum that is designed to help children recover from the hurt of separation and divorce. It is a comprehensive 13-week program designed to run concurrently with the adult DivorceCare program. The program will begin September 28th and run every Wednesday from 6:30-8:00 pm until December 21st. We will meet in the Young Teens room at Northgate's north campus. The program is for children who are ages 5-12 years old and combines games, crafts, activities, story, music and DVD dramas to provide support to children. This is not a counseling service. Although designed to follow the adult DivorceCare program, parents need not be in the DivorceCare program in order to have their children attend DC4K. In addition, children are able to participate any time during the 13 week period. This program is also appropriate for children whose parents divorced several years ago and are not experiencing the immediacy of divorce. To register please call the church office at 343-4011 or email jmorelli3@rochester.rr.com
